SAIL FOR GOLD – British Para & Olympic Sailing Teams

A long and successful connection has been forged with The Royal Yachting Association’s ‘Sail For Gold’ fund-raising for the Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Teams of 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 in Beijing. Auctioned by Mr Nick Bonham, the West original ’team montage’ paintings have raised several thousands of pounds at the Ball auctions at the London Hilton – in addition to the successful sales of limited edition prints of the original painting signed by the artist and all the selected sailors – which have seen them become serious collectors items since 1996 onwards

Sail for Gold Ball A Huge Success On Every Level 9th Jun 2004, London On Thursday 3 June 2004 eight hundred and fifty guests gathered at the London Hilton on Park Lane for a spectacular evening of fun and fundraising at the Sail for Gold Ball 2004. Hosted by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal KG GCVO, the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Sailors of the British Olympic and Paralympic Teams.
