BARONESS HEYHOE FLINT

Sad to hear of the passing of Rachael Heyhoe Flint. She was a great ambassador for women’s cricket, charity work and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. Whenever I met her at Molineux she was always entertaining company, energetic with a great passion for the Wolves. I was honoured to be commissioned to paint this action-study of Rachael when she was captain of England Ladies. I will always be grateful that she introduced me to my boyhood hero Wolves & England goalkeeper Bert Williams with whom I spent many a happy hour.
